With nearly three decades of experience across finance, real estate, business development, entrepreneurship, and functional health, Joe brings an uncommon blend of commercial intuition, human insight, and relational depth to the people and companies he supports.

A Background That Breaks the Mold

Joe’s path hasn’t been straight. He's moved through careers and industries that, on paper, don’t always look connected — banking, real estate, sales leadership, entrepreneurship, consulting, and health & wellness.

In reality, each step sharpened a different lens: business models, human behaviour, financial structures, systems, communication, and the “people dynamics” that decide whether an opportunity thrives or quietly dies on the table.

His perspective is also shaped by personal challenges; including PTSD, ADHD, and OCD. In 2015, after a what can only be described as a 'breakdown', Joe found clarity, and an opportunity to rebuild his life from the ground up. And despite his age that that time — and with his young family by his side, that season left him with something many founders and leaders relate to but rarely talk about: a deep understanding of how humans actually function under pressure.

Today, those experiences are an asset. They allow Joe to meet people where they really are — not where they think they’re supposed to be — and support them with a mix of honesty, empathy, and practical direction.

Life Beyond the Work

Joe lives just outside Fredericton, New Brunswick in Canada. He and his wife —with whom he's spent almost 27 years of life with; Krista, enjoy their mostly rural life — while being close enough to the city to provide a touch of more urban opportunities for their two kids. Having grown up on a small farm, he also spent years as a volunteer firefighter and EMT, and has always been most comfortable in real, unpolished conversations.

Away from client work, he enjoys strength training, guitar, drums, piano, writing, and studying functional health and human performance. He is also completing his Bachelor of Health Sciences and working toward future graduate studies in Natural Health.

Long-term, Joe is building toward multi-brand, multi-generation ventures like BrackenVale and BrackenMuir — quiet, thoughtful enterprises focused on legacy, stewardship, and opportunity for his family and others.
